AWDREO is committed to safeguarding the rights, dignity, and well-being of vulnerable populations in Afghanistan.
Our Protection programs are designed to address critical needs, prevent harm, and provide support to individuals and communities affected by crises and conflict.
In a country where many face challenges such as displacement, exploitation, and violence, our efforts prioritize the safety and resilience of marginalized groups, including women, children, and internally displaced persons (IDPs). Through our protection initiatives, we strive to create safe spaces, advocate for rights, and offer comprehensive support services that empower individuals to rebuild their lives.
Our approach to protection is holistic, encompassing psychosocial counseling, and community-based interventions. By working closely with community leaders, local authorities, and other stakeholders, we ensure that our programs are culturally sensitive and tailored to the unique challenges faced by each community.
One of the cornerstones of our work is supporting survivors of gender-based violence and human trafficking. We provide confidential counseling, therapy, and referral services to help survivors heal and reintegrate into society with dignity. Our efforts also include raising awareness about these issues, promoting gender equality, and advocating for stronger protective mechanisms at the local and national levels.
Additionally, we focus on child protection by addressing issues such as child labor, abuse, and neglect. Through educational campaigns and targeted interventions, we aim to create environments where children are safe, nurtured, and able to thrive.
AWDREO is also actively involved in promoting community resilience through capacity-building initiatives. By equipping individuals and communities with the tools and knowledge to identify risks, report incidents, and access available services, we empower them to take an active role in their own protection.
Our work has made a meaningful difference in the lives of countless individuals across Afghanistan. By prioritizing protection and fostering collaboration, we continue to create a future where vulnerable populations are supported, respected, and given the opportunity to lead fulfilling lives.
Join us in our mission to protect and empower the most at-risk communities in Afghanistan.
